Extreme GPU Bruteforcer has been updated to version 1.6.1.
In the new version:
- Added new module MD5(Unix).exe.
The attack speed per hash in this module makes (on GeForce 8800GS) about 85k p/s.
- Added displaying information on the duration of attack.
- Added new parameters to INI files:
AppendToDictionaryFile - this parameter determines whether or not to append found passwords to dictionary file (e.g., for module MD5.exe that would be MD5.dic). On "1" (default) passwords are appended, on "0" they are not.
AppendToOutputFile - this parameter determines whether or not to append found passwords to the program's output file (e.g., for module MD5.exe that would be MD5.out). On "1" (default) passwords are appended, on "0" they are not.
OutputFileFormat - this parameter defines the format, in which found passwords are to be appended to OUT file. The following values are supported:
"0" (default value) - hash:password
"1" - hash:password (this format allows publishing found passwords in the format common to the InsidePro Software forum).

2 x GTX9800GX2: | Code: | CurrentDevice=1,2,3,4
PasswordsInThread=1,1,1,1
StreamProcessors=128,128,128,128 | Speed of attack for one MD5(Unix) hash = 0,55M p/s

| Possibly (but not promising now) further on I will add simple dictionary attack for the DES(Unix) and MD5(Unix) modules in EGB. That would allow (depending on the power of the GPU) to check those hashes against large dictionaries 30...100 times faster than with PasswordsPro. |

This would be nice. Also, while you are at coding, if you can add the following feature I mentioned to you before (for all of the modules): incorporating a symbol in the mask that would represent a word of the dictionary (the symbol @ for example). For example this mask:
@?d?d?d?d?d
it would load the first word of the dictionary, bruteforce the keyspace for all the 5 number combination (00000 to 99999) added after the word in this case and then go to the second word of dictionary and so forth. This way you can do the equivalent of a very extensive hybrid dictionary attack much quicker. I am already manually doing this and get a lot of tougher passwords. Of course you need to carefully select the words you put in your dictionary to be effective but it would be an amazing tool. |

| mastercracker, I remember that, and it is on the program's wish list. I will definitely get on it, but most likely that's going to happen after updating PasswordsPro (though I may be working on both programs simultaneously). |

In the program description - updated the table of speeds for different types of hashes (the speeds have been recalculated for GPU GTS250 instead of GF8800GS).
Also, the new value StreamProcessors=128 has been set in all the INI files. |

Lastly,
Do you mean that EGB is now supporting md5(unix) style passwords which is looks like this "$1$qeCRn7wE$ijYfHQoK9E60LFtNfON4m/" ?
If yes, This is my local computer's hash:password which is shown above. Could you please send me the PASSWORD part from this md5(unix) style password? If this works, I promise that I will buy it directly. and Promise is promise you know that I waited long time for this
Please don't forget to write your bank details in your mail.
Sincerely, & Thanks...

What do you mean with "I'm unable to find your password"? Do you mean that you are busy or EGB doesn't work on it(I mean on my password which was"$1$qeCRn7wE$ijYfHQoK9E60LFtNfON4m/")? which one is the reason...
Thank you...

| I've tried various attacks, but still couldn't find passworв for your hash. |

| Fixed a minor error in the module MD5(Unix).exe, which sometimes caused skipping long passwords during an attack. |

What about password attack speed for md5(unix)? Can't you increase it? |
